I have always believed that fairness matters, and that people going through change deserve someone who will listen, explain, and stand beside them.

As a kid, I remember watching adults around me face big life transitions – family changes, separations, new beginnings – and realizing how much was at stake, legally and emotionally. The law felt like a way to make those transitions less overwhelming and more human.

That sense of purpose stayed with me through my studies at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, where I discovered that family law offered exactly what drew me to the profession: the chance to help real people experiencing real moments of change find clarity and stability while navigating uncertainty.
