Jill McMillan

Jill McMillan has been a lawyer since 2008 and has been serving the Victoria community since 2019.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta in combined Spanish and Italian in 2003, Jill received a law School in 2007 from the University of Windsor, and was called to the Alberta bar the following year.

Jill practiced in Alberta at local law firms, as a sole practitioner, and in a partnership before moving to Victoria in 2019. She is fluent in Spanish, and lived in Colombia for a year where she established, and operated her own business.

Taking a compassionate and understanding approach, Jill assists clients to navigate the legal system with ease. She believes that negotiation, mediation, and collaboration are the most effective methods for resolving disputes.

As an experienced lawyer, and trained mediator, Jill assesses clients' interests, and creates solutions to best meet those interests.

Outside of work, Jill enjoys spending time with her daughter, swimming, and Stand-Up Paddle Boarding.
