Kirstin E. Menzies
Family Lawyer and Mediator
Profile
I was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2007. I practice primarily as a Collaborative Law Professional and a certified Family Law Mediator, and exclusively in out of court processes. I believe these promote the healthiest outcomes possible for all those involved; in particular, the children. I was admitted as a member of the BC Collaborative Roster Society in 2015, which requires both training and experience, and a commitment to continuing education and work annually, in Collaborative Practice.
I have extensive experience in negotiated settlements of family law cases involving parenting arrangements, division of family assets and debts, and support issues. With compassion and efficiency, I assist my clients in finding solutions to their separation and divorce issues, as efficiently as possible and on their own terms.
I live in the West Shore of Victoria, BC, and am able to serve clients throughout British Columbia. I am a mother of two children and my favourite things include their laughter, hot coffee, rare moments of solitude, and being outside near the water.
